RULE 8.2 OF THE MÄORI LAND COURT RULES 2011
(1) An application under section 45 of the Act must be in form 12 and filed at the office of the Chief Registrar
The website was substantially upgraded in early 2011 and now provides:

one page summaries of all decisions except decisions by judge alone;
transcripts of oral argument;
summaries of pending cases;
public access to the parties’ written submissions in upcoming cases.
I have chosen to use the first edition of the re-launched Judges Corner to set out some basic information about Māori freehold land in 2011, and the steps currently being taken by the Māori Land Court to ensure owners of this land have access to all necessary information in relation to this land in our mutual work to enable the retention and utilisation of their whenua.
