You can visit us at any of our district offices between 10:00am and 4:00pm on a normal weekday. If you’re unable to travel to our district offices, you can make an appointment at one of paneke that we hold in smaller centres around the country, that may be closer to you.
It is not uncommon for a block of 100-200 owners, for meetings to attract less than 10 owners – and that is on a good day. In such cases, the notion that absentee owners could be represented by their marae, hapu or iwi authority is an idea that could be explored.
Conversely, another ahu whenua trust with assets in excess of $10 million and income exceeding $300,000.00 has less than 20 owners, and all of their addresses are known by the responsible trustee so an in person, telephone or postal ballot is a simple process.
