We tend to hold at least one AGM hui a year. Having made contact with the trustees of various ahu whenua trusts and the administrators of incorporations we now regularly receive correspondence from those entities.

TRUSTEE MEETINGS
18.1 The number of Trustees required to attend a trustee meeting in order to conduct the
business of that meeting (“Quorum”) is a majority in number of the Trustees appointed
by the Court.

Generally, members have a three-year term and can stand for re-election at the incorporation’s annual general meeting (AGM). Māori incorporations are governed by the Māori Incorporations Constitution Regulations 1994 and run independently of the normal court processes that apply to trusts, but do provide annual reports to the Court.
Trustee meetings
4.4 The Trustees must meet as regularly as necessary to conduct the business of the Trust.
4.5 A majority of Trustees shall constitute a quorum for a valid Trustee meeting.
4.6 Trustees may attend meetings by electronic or digital means, provided they can and do
remain in contact with the other Trustees at all times throughout the meeting.

4.7 The Trustees must keep minutes of all of their meetings.
