Aorere – Accretion, determination of status, andownership of land

Introduction
In 2017, an application to the Court was made by Ropata Taylor seeking determination
of status andownership of land situated in the township of Collingwood, Golden Bay.1
The land had no current title and was significantly affected by both accretion and
erosion.

On the ownership information page, in the top right area, click “Actions” and then select
“Reports” from the drop-down menu.
A change of ownership of land gives the recipient of that interest the ownershipand its associated rights (land may be vested in a trustee, or shares may be vested
in another person).
