Just before I wind up, I want to make a few brief comments about the Court and the Tribunal.
At the end of each financial year of an incorporation, each member of its committee of management must make a declaration of their holdings and dealings in any beneficial interests in the Māori freehold land held by the incorporation.
If you think that you have been adversely affected by this process and wish to make representations on the application, you must notify the Court in writing by 4pm on the 1st day of February 2024 and specify brief details of your concerns.

Where both limbs of the test have been satisfied invariably the Court will make an appointment in accordance with the wishes of the beneficial owners, or in a case of a Māori reservation trust, the beneficiaries.
