This form may be used to apply to the Court to confirm one or more resolutions passed by owners in Māori Freehold
Land or General Land owned by Māori who together are members of the same family and who have taken the
opportunity to meet together following a family gathering (such as tangi, wedding or reunion).
Such property may include the moneys
and investments held by the Trustees on behalf of the Trust from time to time.

Default Trustee duties
1.
Mortgagee sale: The right of a mortgagee to sell the land over which they hold a
mortgage, if the mortgagor has not met the agreed terms for repayment of money
loaned to them under that mortgage.
Mortgagor: A person (or persons) who owns land, or an interest in land, and gives a
mortgage to a mortgagee as part of an agreement to lend the mortgagor money.

SCHEDULE 1: MATTERS THAT MAY BE DEALT WITH BY ASSEMBLED OWNERS
Section 172, Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993:
The assembled owners of any land may consider, and, where appropriate, pass resolutions concerning, any 1 or more of the following matters:
(a) a proposal that the owners of the land or any part of it shall, either by themsleves or together with owner...
The
Court did not do anything of its own motion.
It was, however, sometimes directed by the
government or by statute to carry out special
inquiries, rehearings, or reinvestigations.
