It is also called a trustorder.
A trustorder sets out the general purpose of the trust and
well as the responsibilities, rights, obligations, and
limitations of the trustees.
A key function of this
role is the on-going data and business information
verification, maintenance and quality storage and
care of all Court records including land titles, court
orders, permanent paper records and other historical
information of business and cultural significance.
Whenua tōpū trusts, again a land management trust, which provide for iwi or hapū based
trusts designed to facilitate the use and administration of the land on behalf of a wider class
of owner, normally a whānau, hapū or iwi grouping.
You must own an interest in the land or be the beneficiary of a whānautrust that owns an interest in the land. The title of ownership remains with the landowners, but the occupation order may be passed on by succession.
