This duplication of process continues to be current practice. In response to the need to review its records under the Public Records Act 2005, the Court undertook a Preservation of the Record project, which was initiated in 2009, creating Records Preservation Officer roles in each of the seven district registries to implement a national record handling and preservation strategy for the Court record.
