Use this form when transferring interests in Māori Land by sale or gift between owners in the same block, owners and their children or owners and any other member of the preferred class of alienee.
Definition of succession Māori land is owned by either one owner or several owners. In some cases, there are hundreds of owners for one block or title¹.

In addition, in accordance with rule 5.11(1)(b)(iii) of the Māori Land Court Rules 2011, a brief summary of the reason why the application has not been finally determined is also provided for each entry.
But, it is my experience that not all owners will participate even with notice. It is not uncommon for a block of 100-200 owners, for meetings to attract less than 10 owners – and that is on a good day.
