Applying for succession
To apply for succession, you need to file a completed
applicationform with an MLC office by either visiting an MLC
office, attending one of our offsite clinics, or sending it by
post.
Support was given for the formation of a whānau trust. An application to constitute a whānau trust was filed in 2004 and eventually heard in February of 2005.
The MLC deals with applicationsfor new trusts,
replacement trustees, variations to trusts, reviews of trusts
and formal complaints, and receives trust reports and
financial accounts.
