29. The Special Aid Fund is administered by the Chief Registrar, any complaints about the
administration and operation of the Special Aid Fund should be made to the Chief
Registrar of the Māori Land Court and copied to the Chief Judge of the Māori Land Court.

Notice for meetings of owners A common complaint from owners is that they were not aware of the meeting being held, so the question arises as to what constitutes sufficient notice.
A judge is not required to recuse him or herself merely because the issues
involved in a case are in some indirect way related to the judge’s personal
experience or that the judge has previously dealt with the case.
