3. Complete documents together
At the hui, it is useful to complete:
• Form B1 – consent to be appointed as trustee forms
• written consents for vesting interests
• draft trust order
This ensures everyone understands and agrees to the documents.
Where there
are only two trustees, both are required for the purpose of
establishing a quorum.
SIGNING DOCUMENTS
Trustees may sign documents by a majority (more than half
of all the trustees currently appointed by the MLC) if the
trustees have passed a resolution authorising the document.
You may use this document to request a remittal, reduction, or refund of the fee prescribed for an application
before the Māori Land Court or Māori Appellate Court under the Māori Land Court Fees Regulations 2013.
