For some applications, landowners will need to notify other owners of their application to the Court ahead of time so they can attend hui, support the application, make a payment offer, or object to the application.
The Trustees may at any time apply to the Court to
vary this Order, PROVIDED THAT:
(a) the Beneficiaries have had sufficient notice of the variation and sufficient
opportunity to discuss and consider it; and
(b) there is a sufficient degree of support for the variation among the Beneficiaries.
Our key purpose is to promote the retention of Māori land in Māori hands, and to support landowners to use, occupy and develop their whenua for the benefit of all landowners, and their whānau and hapū.
