Pātaka Whenua is the online portal that holds the Māori Land Court electronic record, which includes minutes and orders.
The change programme has touched all parts of the Māori Land Court and is one of the biggest change programme and technology upgrades in twenty years. Establishing a new online portal will assist the Court to work towards ensuring better public access to information, engaging the court, and conduct ing proceedings.

In May 2023 we launched a redesigned web- site and a new online portal – Pātaka Whenua. The introduction of the Pātaka Whenua technology was part of a wider Whenua Māori Programme of change which also included implementing legislative change and intro- ducing new ways of working.
