If you do not intend to seek a grant of probate or administration in the estate you should complete the application for

When a hapū partition is created, the new
titles are noted of that designation. if,
at some later date, the hapū partition is
upgraded to a full partition, then the council’s
consent will be needed. if ownership of any
of the land is sold or transferred outside
of the hapū, the court can require that a
portion of the land be set apart as a Māori
reservation for the common use and benefit
of the new Zealand people.

A full partition allows the transfer of the new blocks by gift or sale outside of the existing ownership group.

written consents of the trustees
written consents of the beneficiaries
evidence of a properly notified meeting(s) held to terminate the trust, and
a schedule of land to be removed from the trust and to who those shares will be transferred
If you apply to terminate a trust which was set up under section 132(6) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act (Māori customary land being managed by another Māori land trust), the land must be vested in another trust.
If ownership of any of the land is sold or transferred outside
of the hapū, the MLC can require a portion of the land be set
apart as a Māori reservation8 for the common use and benefit
of the people of Aotearoa.
