Just before I wind up, I want to make a few brief comments about the Court and the Tribunal. For Te Kooti Whenua Māori this is a time of uncertainty. We await confirmation of the details and programme for the Government’s review of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act, and so now is not the time for comment from the judiciary.

Review of Te Ture Whenua Act 1993
Introduction
At the beginning of April this year the Associate Minister of Māori Affairs released the
Review Panel’s report into Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993.
Any owner or interested person may use this form to apply to the Court to call or direct the Registrar to call a meeting
of assembled owners for any Māori Freehold land or General Land owned by Māori to consider 1 or more resolutions for
those matters set out in section 172 of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993 (attached as a schedule to this form)
