MLC 150 years of the Maori Land Court
In 1864 there were a few sittings of the new body in Northland, presided over by Judge Rogan. Then, in early 1865, the Court was remodelled and began hearing cases on a wider scale under the 1862 Act in parts of Northland and the Coromandel peninsula.
