Additional interests 7 7.3 If, after the constitution of this Trust, any additional Māori land interests are vested in the name of any person who has vested Māori land interests into this Trust, those additional interests shall be included as Trust Property of this Trust by application to the Court by the Registrar without notice to the Beneficiaries.
Any changes agreed to at the meeting can be formalised by filing an application with the MLC to vary the trust order.

With changes to the role of the Chief Registrar, Steve is now responsible for exercising statutory powers in accordance with the applicable Act, providing technical advice relating to Court processes and procedures and supporting the staff and managers of the Māori Land Court to enable them to deliver excellent customer service.
When making disclosure, the judge should issue a minute through the Registrar to counsel for all parties. The judge should ensure that the minute contains sufficient information, without unnecessary detail, to enable the parties to decide whether to make a recusal application.
