The funding is for clean-up of sediment & debris, where mahi has already been completed (either by owners or by contractors) and for any similar mahi to be completed in the future. Package information and the application form can be found on Te Puni Kōkiri’s website. ( Whenua Māori sediment and debris management package (tpk.govt.nz) )
This information in my view should be brought together and made available to the Māori Land Court, and then to an owner who wishes to develop his land and needs to notify owners.
The audited accounts will be presented to beneficiaries at the next general meeting.
4.8 The accounts must be available for trustees to inspect at every trustees' meeting.
4.9 The trustees will seek funding from relevant agencies to maximise the wellbeing of the marae.
