Where land is vested in trustees, the trustees are the
legal owners of the land and they hold it upon trust for the
beneficial owners and they manage that land in
accordance with the trust order set by the Court.
The land interests would then go directly back to those
beneficiaries of the estate who contributed shares to
the whānautrust. For more information, go online to
