I am very pleased to announce the Hon Tama Potaka, Minister for Māori Development, has confirmed the appointment of a Deputy Chief Judge and the appointment of a new Judge to our Court.
She emphasised that Te Puna Manawa Whenua will also support the development of the whenua and the people who come to Court. While it is not a comprehensive statement of the law and does not bind judges, Te Puna Manawa Whenua serves as a guide and reference for judges to refer to.
