Other status types
As this update is specifically for Māori Customary Land and Māori Freehold Land it excludes the
following land status types that fall within the jurisdiction of the Māori Land Court:
Crown Land
Crown Land Reserved for Māori
General Land (which maybe vested in a Māori Land Trust)
General Land Owned by Māori (which maybe vested in a Māori Land Trust);
Ownership Only (ownership interes...
Much like a partition, an amalgamated block is dependent on:
agreement or sufficient degree of support from the owners
the value of each landblock and the shares (before amalgamation)
the value of the new landblock (after amalgamation)
access arrangements to the new landblock, and
new shareholding, based on the value of the pre-amalgamation shares, in the new landblock.
Use this form when exchanging some or all of your interests in Māori Land by sale or gift with some or all of the Māori
Land interests of a different owner in a different block of Māori Land.
Include these details in this clause.
10 (k) Insert the names of the landowners of the block. If there is a trust, name
the trustees and the trust.
