Te Kooti Whenua Māori – the Māori Land Court is part of Tāhū o te Ture – the Ministry of Justice.
Pātaka Whenua is the online portal that holds the Māori Land Court electronic record, which includes minutes and orders.
Incorporations appear to have fallen out of favour and I know of only one that has been formed in the last 20 years. In contrast new ahu whenua trusts for the management of Māori freehold land are regularly set up through the Māori Land Court.
In accordance with tikanga Māori there is no distinction to be drawn between whenua (land) that is dry and land that is covered by the sea.

Water service providers sometimes need to enter land to work on water infrastructure. If they need to enter Māori land, they must ask for the landowner’s permission in writing at least 30 working days before the date they plan to enter.
Any other record of the Court kept in electronic form in accordance with rule 7.23 of the Māori Land Court Rules 2011.
