The Māori Land Court is conducting an inquiry to establish the successors to SILNA lands pursuant to Section 29, Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993 in accordance with an application filled by the Minister of Māori Affairs, currently under application A20180009373.
The first step in filing an appeal or charging order application is to gather any supporting documents and complete the general form of application ( Form 1 ).

Access to Māori land was generally considered when the title of the land was originally issued and in many cases: a roadway would have been created to give access to the land there may have already been a public or private roadway servicing the land, or a right of way to access land, across a neighbouring property, may have been put in place.
