All other sessions of the Chief Justices Conference were held at the Supreme Court of Japan. While a number of the sessions were not directly relevant to our work in the Māori Land Court, all sessions were interesting and had aspects which made you think about the work we do and how we do our work.
However, the reality was that some of our Māori Land Court staff were ill-equipped to do this due to both a lack of resources, and a lack of access to court records.
