To support how the Māori Land Court functions, judges will be able to appoint experts
in tikanga Māori and whakapapa as additional members of the Court, and they can hold
judicial settlement conferences to assist parties toa dispute to settle a claim or issue.
Where land other than Māori land is tobe exchanged a full description of that land so as to enable
it tobe clearly identified together with particulars of all encumbrances recorded against the land
Where any piece of land tobe exchanged is only part of the land comprised in a title, a plan defining
the piece tobe exchanged.
The alienee is not a member of the preferrred classes of alienees and a first right of refusal is tobe given to the
preferred classes of alienees in accordance with rule 11.5.
