You can bring whānau with you to court to support you and your application. If you are a whānau or hapū member who did not submit the application but would like to speak in Court, you can file a ‘ Notice of intention to appear upon application ’.

If you have a current application before the Court, you will need to email your details to MLC.Trustee.Training@justice.govt.nz to ensure you complete the training before your Court hearing.
More problematic was that in the early 1970s there had been further succession orders in relation to interests not dealt with in 1967. At that time the Judges hearing those applications were not aware that there had been the previous applications in 1967 and that it had been intended to vest all interests into one person.

You can apply if you are: • the owner of the Māori land shares to be transferred • the person who will receive the Māori land shares • a trustee for either of the people mentioned above. The applicant, or counsel for the applicant, must sign the application for the vesting order.
