It is a good idea to ask them about:
What land blocks you might be an owner in
An accurate record of your whakapapa
How you became an owner or beneficiary to your whenua.
You can bring whānau with you to court to support you and your application. If you are a whānau or hapū member who did not submit the application but would like to speak in Court, you can file a ‘ Notice of intention to appear upon application ’.
The identified successors will take part in the upcoming voting process, about how the land will be received and held.

More problematic was that in the early 1970s there had been further succession orders in relation to interests not dealt with in 1967. transferred should attend.

• the owner of the Māori land shares to
be transferred
• the person who will receive the Māori
land shares
• a trustee for either of the people
mentioned above.
The applicant, or counsel for the applicant,
must sign the application for the vesting order.
