Māori Incorporations Constitution Regulations 1994
Sets the rules by which all existing Māori Incorporations must be run.
Applications are grouped by District and include the application reference number, the date on which
the application was received by the Court, the subject of the application, the authority under which
the application is made and the applicant(s).
There are a few reasons that additional interests might appear after the first succession:
Incorporation shares: these may have been missed from the first application because no one knew they existed at the time.
If the whenua is held within a Māori incorporation and a member of the PCA declines an offer to sell or transfer incorporation shares, the incorporation can buy those land shares.

If you want to sell or gift your shares in an incorporation and no member of the PCA is able to take or buy the shares, the incorporation may do so instead.

Before applying to the Māori Land Court for an occupation
order, you will need consent from the other owners of the
land, and if applicable, from trustees or the management
committee of the Māori incorporation over the land.
