Over and above these roles, they have all found
time to deliver speeches, participate in seminars or
conferences, contribute to the Māori Land Court’s
business operations including the development
of draft rules for the Court, develop a Banking
Practice Note (led by Judge Armstrong) and a
Special Aid Practice Note (led by Judge Warren),
and participate in judicial committees of the Chief
Justice.
Both Judges Mullins and
Warren returned to their kura, Taihape College
(now Taihape Area School) and Te Aute College,
for their sittings, in acknowledgement of the sig-
nificant roles those kura and communities played
in their journeys.
