Succession with a will and administration
If your whānau member has left a will and formal administration has been granted by the High Court of NewZealand (including probate), you can apply for succession (with grant of administration).
If you’re facing financial hardship, for example, you’re on a Work and Income NewZealand benefit or you’re receiving Superannuation, you can request to have the fee waived or reduced.
