The working list of potential owners was updated at a sitting of the Māori Land Court in Te Waipounamu on 9 September 2021.
It is from this base that, in New Zealand in 2022, our Courts are now issuing decisions decreeing that tikanga Māori is part of our common law in New Zealand.
