Incorporation. Former land owners become shareholders in the Incorporation rather than
owners in the land.

(i) the date of the order or certificate; and
(ii) a description of the land affected; and
(iii) the names of the owners affected or, in the case of succession, the name of the deceased:

a strong platform for Māori land owners, to
give Māori land owners more autonomy and, if
they so choose, support to realise the economic
potential of their land.
