The court minute becomes a part of the court record. The court minute is a valuable taonga that provides important information for future generations to learn about the history of their whenua.
Some marae are lucky enough to be supported, at least in part, by ahu whenua land trusts which may make donations, in money or in kind, to keep the marae running.
A big part on how we do this is by involving the commitment of our people to provide great service to the public every day.
In 2003, realising that there was only one uncle and one aunty still alive, something needed to be done.
