Māori Land Update –
Ngā Āhuatanga o te whenua
June 2013 | Pipiri 2013
This update is issued by the Office of the Chief Registrar, Māori LandCourt | Te Kooti Whenua Māori
as part of the ongoing efforts to help inform and assist owners, organisations and government
agencies about the characteristics of Māori Freehold and Māori Customary Land.
...
Publication of recordings in this manner “enables the public to view entire, unedited proceedings” and at the same time “enables the Court to retain control of the recordings”.
It would be interesting to see the response if our Māori LandCourt required the parties’ written submissions in upcoming cases to be uploaded to the Māori landCourt website prior to hearings.
Use this form to file an appeal against an interim or preliminary decision or determination of the Māori LandCourt in which there remain outstanding matters for the Court to address.
This schedule does not include applications that have been set down for hearing, are before the
Court for determination, have been determined by the Court and/or are awaiting release of any
decision, determination or order of the Court.
The survey will close at midnight on Sunday 20 July 2025 .
