Welcome to the year that was for the Māori Land Court. And what a busy year it was. The judges have been working with the staff of the seven Māori Land Court registries to move through the backlog of cases before the Court.

In 2017, an application was made to the Māori Land Court to determine the status of the land, the ownership of the land and the relative interests of the owners.
