This brought the Māori Land Court record into the computer age with details of Māori land blocks and their owners being accessible nationwide, without owners having to travel to the Māori Land Court where the land was located to get information.
The failure to do so is a breach of the duty to be active.
3. While the Trust Land and Trust Property is to be held and used for the benefit of the Beneficial
Owners, the Beneficial Owners are not the legal owners and they have no right (legal or
otherwise) to instruct the Trustees how to manage and deal with Trust Land and Trust Property.
