Te Kooti Whenua Māori – MāoriLand Court (MLC) is the
New Zealand Court that hears matters relating to Māoriland.
He has specialised in
Māori legal issues including
Māoriland law, Treaty settle-
ments, post-settlement gov-
ernance advice for iwi groups,
Waitangi Tribunal, and general
public law disputes and legis-
lative developments.
We were established to convert customary Māorilandinto titles which could be acquired, initially by the colonial government and later by individual settlers.
