Māori incorporation land
Gifting or selling
The Māori incorporation can transfer any Māori
freehold land vested 7 in it provided that:
• a special resolution passed by the
shareholders has agreed to it
• shareholders owning at least 75 percent
of the shares agree
5 An agreement between two parties that is
intended to be enforceable at law.
