QUORUM The total number of trustees is the number appointed by the MLC. Note, though, that this total includes absent trustees, deceased trustees and resigning trustees who have not been replaced, or where the number of trustees has not been reduced by the MLC.

The committee of management needs to know the shares belong to the trust and trustees have been duly appointed by the MLC. The MLC will give a copy of the court orders17 to the Māori incorporation.

An easement order can be registered by the court free of charge with LINZ. TRUSTEES Where land is vested in trustees and the trust order21 allows, trustees may negotiate the terms of an easement with the interested parties.
