Whenua tōpū trusts, again a land management trust, which provide for iwi or hapū based
trusts designed to facilitate the use and administration of the land on behalf of a wider class
of owner, normally a whānau, hapū or iwi grouping.
Only in special circumstances will a Māori reservation be set aside for anyone other than the whānau, hapū, and iwi traditionally associated with that particular land.
The special
bond between Māori people and the land is
recognised by the Māori Land Court, and the
records held by this Court form an invaluable
part of the whakapapa of all Māori.
Include these details in this clause.
10 (k) Insert the names of the landowners of the block. If there is a trust, name
the trustees and the trust.
10 (n) Name the parent block.

Review of trust
AOTEA PĀNUI
With the focus of the recent review on increased productivity of land, let’s not forget the many trustsand incorporations that already do a great job and are success stories that have been celebrated this weekend.
The failure to do so is a breach of the duty to be active.
3. While the TrustLandandTrust Property is to be held and used for the benefit of the Beneficial
Owners, the Beneficial Owners are not the legal owners and they have no right (legal or
otherwise) to instruct the Trustees how to manage and deal with TrustLandandTrust Property.
