subject to an order appointing a manager under section 31 of the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act 1998 ; or a trustee corporation managing the persons' property under section 32 or 33 of this Act
an undischarged bankrupt, or
convicted of crimes punishable by imprisonment for a period of six months or more, unless they have served the sentence or have otherwise suffered the penalty.

The Tākitimu Māori Land Court has moved into its newly refurbished premises in Farming House, Hastings with the new space formally opened during a kawanga whare (formal building opening ceremony) on 31 July.
Designed in partnership with mana whenua, the refurbished court provides a contemporary and culturally grounded environment that better supports the needs of whānau, hapū, and communities engaging with the Court.
