Please note that section 150A of the Act (as
amended by section 24 of Te Ture Whenua
Māori Amendment Act No. 16 2002) requires
any lease for longer than 52 years to have
the consent of at least half the beneficial
owners of the land and the approval of the
Māori Land Court.
