Charging orders – water services charges In certain situations, Māori landowners may have to pay for water services. If an owner of Māori freehold land in multiple ownership has paid more than their share of water services changes, they can apply to the Māori Land Court for a “charging order” to recover the excess amount paid.
This period does not include court vacations.
On occasion a judge may advise parties that the judgment will take longer than three
months to deliver due to the complexity of the case or other pressing matters of court
business.
Step 7
Once you open the management structure information page, you will find several different
sections including:
• name and ID details,
• a list of organisation members,
• and the originated documents list.
Note you may need to click on the arrow in the heading bars to expand the view (shown below)
SEARCH CRITERIA TIPS
• When searching a document name with a page range, only enter up to the first number
instead of the full range as some documents may have the range written differently, e.g.
for a minute book reference, you could search 23 Tākitimu MB 233 instead of 23 Tākitimu
MB 233-268 to get all documents under that criteria
