Trustees
Where the land is vested in trustees and
where the trust order 14 allows, the trustees
may negotiate the terms of an easement
with the interested parties.
If you are interested in or affected by an application and wish to make representations on
the application, you must notify the Court in writing by 4 pm on the 1st of April 2023 and specify brief
details of your concerns. The Court may, on considering such notice, arrange for the application to be
set down for formal hearing or rehearing as the case may be.
However, the trustees must have the power to grant
licences to occupy in their trust order. The trust order may
also limit who may apply and impose any conditions.
Those entitled to succeed have conferred and wish to vest the interests of the deceased into a whānau trust.
If those entitled to succeed do wish to vest the deceased’s interests in a whānau trust, please complete and attach to this
application form 23 of the Māori Land Court Rules 2011.
