TAKE NOTICE THAT the following schedule of applications, currently held in the Office of the Chief
Registrar in Wellington, received up to the panui closing date of 11th of May 2023, are hereby
notified, pursuant to rules 3.18, 5.3 and 8.2(3) of the Māori Land Court Rules 2011, as being
outstanding and have yet to be determined or set down for inquiry or report...
To support this initiative, the Court has established a dedicated monthly hearing for Fast-Track applications. The process has been designed to help whānau complete trustee changes more quickly, reduce waiting times, and provide a clearer and more efficient pathway through the application process.
After further consultation, I reschedule the applications set down for hearing as follows:
From: Christchurch: 10:00am, Thursday 3rd October 2024
To: Christchurch: 10:00am, Thursday 7th November 2024
This direction is issued pursuant to rule 3.8(1)(b) Māori Land Court Rules 2011 and a
copy is to be sent to the Chief Judge, the Chief Registrar, and the Registrar of the Te
Waipounamu District Registry of the Court.
The
judges of the Māori Land Court expect that 90% of Court decisions will be delivered
within three months of the last day of hearing or receipt of the last submission in the
case in question.
After further consultation, I reschedule the applications set down for hearing as follows:
