(such as ahu whenua, kaitiaki, and whānau trusts) and existing
trusts established before the law came into force.

Much will depend on the nature of the trust’s business and the ability, experience and knowledge of nominees in areas relevant to the trust’s activities.
The respective whānau trusts are coordinated through an ahu whenua trust for the management of the whole block and in dealings with third parties such as the Rotorua District Council.
