completed without delay/issued without the appeal
period, the Court will declare the order to be
"completed without delay" and then the order can
be released immediately (Rule 7.5(2)(b) of the
Māori Land Court Rules 2011)

The traditional Māori tribal hierarchy and social order
made up of hapū (kin groups) and whānau (family
groups), having a founding ancestor and territorial
(tribal) boundaries.
A similar undertaking was conveyed in article 3 of the Māori text,
which provides that the Crown will care for Māori and give to Māori the same rights and duties of
citizenship as the people of England.7 Article 3 has been understood as a guarantee of equity between
Māori and other New Zealanders.8
With respect to articles 1 and 2 of te Tiriti, the Waitangi Tribunal has also observed:9

Accordingly, the report’s recommendation is simply unnecessary and of very limited
application.
