Before applying to the Māori Land Court for an occupation order, you will need consent from the other owners of the land, and if applicable, from trustees or the management committee of the Māori incorporation over the land.
For example, a life interest may be awarded by the Court in favour of a surviving partner of a person who hold an interest in Māori land.
You’ll be shown a summary screen of the information about that block of land including block shape if available and originated documents.
