Ngā Pānui Mai i Te Whakamāene – Special Applications
The earlier part of the reporting year saw a team focus on progressing new applications to
Court in a timely fashion in conjunction with progressing our oldest on hand applications (being
those applications on the team filed in 2013 or earlier).
You don’t need
to file separate applications for each district.
Along with your application form, you will need:
• the original death certificate or a copy
• the original will14 or a certified copy of the will
• the original grant of administration, if any, or a certified
copy
• the application fee (the amount is noted on the form).
Once the court record is updated, your application is complete.
As part of the application, the Court may make additional orders (to the succession order) to give full
effect to the application.
